Overview

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring paperwork.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take responsibility for recruiting and interviewing for the organization;
  • Conduct new employee orientations to introduce the organizations history, goals, and benefits/offers/provisions/compensation;
  • Maintain an efficient filing system for employee and company records;
  • Write and post job description on career websites, newspapers, and university boards;
  • Attend job fairs and career events;
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media;
  • Use recruiting tools and assessments to assess candidates’ skills;
  • Work on special projects and assist with all other areas of the HR department.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • 1-2 years of related experience;
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, or a related HR support role;
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
