The Vice President of Operations – Northeast Region is responsible for managing the operations of eight facilities representing the Northeast Region. Responsibilities include the creating a safe environment for our associates, order fulfillment for our customers, stewardship of our inventory, fleet & other assets, and financial performance against budgets. This person reports to the SVP of Operations, and is part of the PetroChoice leadership team contributing to key strategic initiatives in addition to day-to-day operations. PetroChoice is an aggressively growing company, and this role requires leadership in a changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of related experience in Operations Management preferably in wholesale distribution.

Operations Management responsibilities:
Responsible for managing eight Branch Operations Managers and staff, as well as regional operations support staff.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university with at least 10 years related experience in Operations Management.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software, Inventory software and experience working in an enterprise wide system. Experience working in and ERP environment is desirable.
