PetroChoice, a leading distributor of lubricants, oils, fluids, and greases is currently recruiting a Territory Sales Manager to concentrate on Automotive Chemical Sales and Service in Northeast and Central PA, Maryland, Washington DC and surrounding markets. In this role, you will manage existing automotive service accounts including car dealers, quick lubes, tire dealers and automotive service garages, supporting and promoting the sales of automotive service chemicals and fluid exchange equipment. You will partner with established sales professionals to gain new customers; train Service Technicians, Service Writers, and Service Managers on the value of automotive chemical services and fluid exchanges; maintain fluid exchange equipment with basic maintenance and diagnostics; demonstrate use of fluid exchange machines for customers; develop and implement programs to help customers sell service chemicals, manage sales incentives for customers; provide daily reports to management on activities and customer information.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated; have a proven sales record, industry and/or automotive experience. Mechanical and technical aptitude is essential as you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment. To be successful you will need:

The Territory Sales Manager:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in an outside sales position, preferably industrial sales, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and understand journal entries and the flow of information through a general ledger. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
