We are a premier distributor of lubricants and services to thousands of companies in many states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska among others. In fact, we distribute and offer our services from more than 50 locations in 32 states every day and include top brands of oils, greases, and other lubricants.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time.   All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Assembles accessories and peripherals and installs the appropriate required operating systems.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
  • Adds, removes and maintains user accounts on all servers, including password changes and account resets as well as deletion of terminated employees.
  • Provides user level support for problems relating to the company’s Citrix Environment as necessary.
  • Maintains all server room and lab environments in an organized fashion.
  • Be the primary network support specialist in the Wichita, KS location. This includes, but is not limited to,LAN and WAN operations, firewall, switch, and wireless management and support.
  • Performs network, computer, and software troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems.
  • Work with Sr. Network Engineer to keep network running at peak efficiency.

  • Knowledge of and experience with the following technologies is essential:
    • Windows 2003 Server
    • Windows 2008 Server
    • Windows 2012 Server
    • Active Directory and Group Policies
    • TCP/IP networking
    • Citrix Administration
    • Office 365 Administration
    • Network Experience in a complex LAN/WAN environment
    • Cisco Switches
    • Cisco Meraki
    • Firewall Configuration and Maintenance
    • Wireless Networking
    • Willingness to update skills on a regular basis to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology.
    • Excellent communication skills to work with clients and vendors on all support issues
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Network Monitoring

Education/Expirience:

Bachelor degree in computer science and at least three years of relevant experience OR at least five years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Competency:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

 

 

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other report writing and project planning software. Experience working in an ERP environment is desirable.
