    The Pricing Administrator will be responsible for making ad-hoc updates to PetroChoice vendor and customer prices, via item records, pricing libraries, and sales orders. This will require coordinating with PetroChoice Pricing, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable team members. 

     

     

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Previous experience or demonstrated ability to learn robust ERP software; prior experience using Epicor Prophet 21 and/ or with SQL will be a strong advantage.
    • Strong Data Entry skills with low error rate
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree (BA/ BS) from an accredited four-year College or University and 1-2 years’ related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Responsibilities

    In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the following:

     

     

    • Update customer pricing in the Company’s ERP system based on feedback from Sales, external quoting systems, or management review
    • Update sales pricing libraries in the Company’s ERP system based on feedback from Sales, external quoting systems, or management review
    • Submit claims for rebates to select vendors and post receipts in the Company’s ERP system
    • Update vendor pricing information in the Company’s ERP based on information provided by Procurement and/ or Accounting
    • Research and update unpriced, low-margin, or mismatched sales and purchase orders to prevent customer billing errors and/ or margin loss
    • Gather data as required to support Sales efforts and the Company’s overall pricing strategy

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor's degree (BA/ BS) from an accredited four-year College or University and 1-2 years’ related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret sales orders and vendor pricing sheets. Ability to understand and respond to emails pertaining to incorrectly priced or costed items from all management levels and from Sales and Accounting perspectives

     

    MATH ABILITY:            

    Ability to apply basic mathematical operations (i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to determine appropriate costs, prices, mark-ups, and margins by gallon, pound, or sales unit.

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    Previous experience or demonstrated ability to learn robust ERP software; prior experience using Epicor Prophet 21 and/ or with SQL will be a strong advantage. Must be efficient and accurate with regard to data entry and should have a basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., must be comfortable working with spreadsheet data and should be familiar with writing basic formulas).
