Overview

SUMMARY:  

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate, and Service and Autolube associates.  Involvement will include continuous improvement programs, as well as daily operation.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time.   All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Schedule and monitor service, installation, and repair work.
  • Document and track open and completed service work.
  • Prepare vendor warranties and customer invoices.
  • Assist in technical support to customers.
  • Maintain technical records.
  • Assist incoming phone calls for service and parts orders.
  • Support and motivate Associates’ growth.
  • Establish and coordinate continuous training opportunities.
  • Identify human and material resources needed.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards.
  • Maintain tool, equipment, asset maintenance, and asset licenses/documentation programs.
  • Ensure compliance of health/safety, and company policy/goal initiatives.
  • Prepares accurate and timely quotes for customers.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Electronic scanning/filing of documents.
  • Maintain technical information infrastructure.
  • Follow up on open service items.
  • Works in a cooperative manner with team and customers
  • Meets and responds to the needs of assigned customers/projects in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintains a proficient level of understanding of products and services
  • Promote safety with co-workers and customers
  • Completes all requested actions in accordance of Petrochoice business standards.
  • Positive attitude with customer solutions.
  • Addresses any customer issues beyond immediate control to the needed parties.
  • This position requires up to 50% travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Degree Required; 2 Year Degree Preferred

1-3 years Administrative/Clerical Experience

1-3 years Customer Service

1-3 years Product Support Operation

1-3 years Technical or Mechanical Experience (Machine Svc or Maint)

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write proposals and technical documents that conform to prescribed style and format.

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and understand journal entries and the flow of information through a general ledger. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
