Overview

SUMMARY  

This position is responsible for routing and scheduling lubricant and fuel deliveries from designated Moove facilities.  Implementation of delivery policies and procedures is the cornerstone of this position.  Routing and Logistics is primarily responsible for monitoring delivery intervals and making appropriate adjustments thereto.  In addition, this position serves as a quality control checkpoint with respect to Inventory Control and CSRs accurate performance and adherence to policies and procedures.  This position will also interface with Customer Service with respect to route changes and scheduled deliveries in order to facilitate telemarketing to scheduled accounts or delivery areas.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time.   All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Print or download and sort delivery tickets
  • Route deliveries for designated facilities
  • Monitor and adjust delivery intervals and remote tank monitoring
  • Order check-in and delivery ticket return verification
  • Open order tracking
  • Provide manifests and load instructions to warehouse
  • Communicate route information and planning drivers and to Customer Service
  • Maintain driver productivity data and reports
  • Recommend inventory stocking level adjustments
  • Interface with Fleet Supervisor and facilitate vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Monitor and document performance or service failures and metrics

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from college or university; or five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be fluent in the use of computers and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other report writing and project planning software. Experience working in an ERP environment is desirable.
