Overview

Inventory Admin Associate manages the administrative tasks within the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficent operations.  Their responsiblities include inventory management, order processing, documentation, and supporting overall warehouse efficency.  They will work directly under the inventory control supervisor and work with warehouse staff and corporate teams. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimal supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

  • Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Management of paperwork of all inventory movements, including but not limited to customer orders, internal transfers, manufacturing work orders, inventory receipts.
  • Coordinating inventory transfers between Petrochoice Locations
  • Scanning shipping and receiving docs into the system for proper documentation
  • Assisting with cycle counts preformed at the warehouse
  • Understand and revise existing ERP procedures to meet business requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records and data within the warehouse management system
  • Meet all safety requirements / training, and wear all applicable PPE equipment for their job function to ensure that lost time accidents are held to a minimum.

COMPETENCY:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

 

  • Basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer / IT – using multiple screens, working with Microsoft Office and strong keyboard skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Experience working in Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and an ERP environment is desirable.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.

This is an office position located inside a warehouse. They employee will have to walk the warehouse floor. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
